The Upromise shopping portal is offering 10% on Sears purchases, today December 22nd only.
If you have the Upromise credit card, you can get an additional 5% back.
The Upromise terms imply that gift card purchases are included; only gift card redemptions are excluded.

Sears is currently running a promotion during which you can get a $20 eAward card for each separate $100 gift card purchase or reload.
This offer ends on December 25th – not much time left. Great to pair with Discover’s 5% category by buying e-gift cards or reloading a gift card.
Final Thoughts
I plan on maxing out my $1500 Discover card using this promo. My hopes were pinned on a Shopathome or Ebates bonus offer at Sears (I have no love for Upromise), but it hasn’t come yet and there’s just a few days to go until the Sears offer expires on December 25th.
One word of caution: In my most recent experience using a Upromise bonused rate, the system did not automatically give the bonus rate; rather, it came through as the standard, lower rate. In our case, we should hopefully be able to get the full amount added manually if it doesn’t come through automatically. There is some risk here, however, that something could go wrong.
