The Offer
- It’s possible for some people to get the following offer on both the personal & business version of the American Express Delta Gold card: Spend $1,000 or more within three months and receive a sign up bonus of 60,000 miles. The Fine Print
- Annual fee of $95 is waived the first year
- Card earns at the following rates:
- 2x miles on all purchases made directly with Delta
- 1x miles on all other purchases
- No foreign transaction fees
- Offer valid until August 31st, 2015
Our Verdict
This is 10,000 miles more than what the public bonuses recently were, Delta no longer have an award chart and Delta miles will again be devalued for travel starting after June 1st, 2016. I don’t have a lot of faith left with Delta (and I didn’t have much to begin with), so if you’re going to sign up for the bonus then using the miles sooner rather than later is recommended – although this holds true for all loyalty programs.
