We’ve been reporting on the awesome promo from Topcashback which gives us $10 back for selling a gift card on Raise. This really helps cover the commission costs of selling on Raise and can negate or lower the Raise fees.
The cashback all posts initially as $1.50 and is supposed to get uplifted at the end of the month. We all waited anxiously at the beginning of August for the cashback to get uplifted from July and it never happened. Just today, we’re all seeing the $10 cashback for each gift card listing, exactly as promised!
Another positive detail is that Topcashback went back and forth in the terms of the offer whether the gift card face value had to be $50 in order to trigger the $10 cashback or if the actual selling amount had to be $50. They’ve recently changed the terms back and we can get the $10 cashback so long as the face value is $50.
See Mileswhip’s tips for listing on Raise here. I’ve had near-flawless success using those tips. I’ll be hitting up Raise more often now, for as long as this promo lasts!

There is a notice on TCB that the $10 promo expires in 6 days (at the end of August). I’ve listed a bunch of cards so far and none have sold. My question is, do they have to sell in order to get the $10 cash back? If so, WHEN do they have to sell? By the end of the month?
If anyone knows the answer to this, I would appreciate a response. If they need to sell by the end of the month I’ll need to drop the asking price on all my cards.
I’ve been listing following the rules according to mileswhip. My last listing were over 24 hours ago and have not tracked. Do you think I should list more and file a claim?
Personally, I don’t file claims when some miss. That’s all I can say.
Yesterday was a bad day for tracking for me and Mileswhip. I think today is back to normal.
Had to file 6 claims. My first experience with Raise.
Neither of my two sales tracked, had to submit a claim. Did anyone else have this experience? I did follow method outlined.
It’s hit and miss. I get lots of success using Mileswhip’s tips, but others aren’t successful.
I read the post from miles whip but I’m left with a few questions.
1) Does the lifetime $1,000 cb apply to this $10 off $50 promo?
2) Can it be used for any gift card with no exclusions? Such as Lowe’s, Wal-Mart, Best Buy etc which are typically listed as lower cash back payouts with Raise and the cb portals.
3) Miles Whip wrote in his post that he believed it to be up to 3 times use per day, although to be fair it was in the comments to someone. I did ask him in that post just now but am waiting on a response.
Also waiting on a response from TCB regarding usage limits, however I’d need to follow up with the $1,000 rule if no one here knows. I’ll post their response here as well.
The terms sound like the $1k limit is only on purchases. TCB did tell me once that it applies to sales as well, but it doesn’t appear to be enforced on an automated level.
All gc have been working.

Anyone getting the groupon sign up bonus yet?
Any idea if the $1000 lifetime limit is calculated on the sale price or the face value of the gift card?
Not sure. With Cardpool, it’s the face value.
The 1k limit seems to be mainly for purchases, not necessarily for sales.
Gotcha. I haven’t seen anything track on my account since I hit $960 in sales. My wife setup an account and hers track, but mine don’t.
Interesting, haven’t heard anyone else have this problem.
Raise the roof!!!
couldn’t have said it better myself
