- United PerksPlus customers can receive 10,000 bonus points and a free year of ETA, by doing the following:
- Enter phone number and press ‘Text me the app’.
- Download ETA to your iPhone.
- Sign in with your work email.
- Tap on Profile at the bottom.
- Select United PerksPlus℠ Setup.

Our Verdict
PerksPlus is United’s rewards program for businesses. 10,000 points can be transferred to regular United miles at a 2:1 ratio, so basically a free 5,000 miles, there is also a PerksPlus award chart found here. Keep in mind the eligibility requirements for PerksPlus are quite high:
- Once your company’s eligible revenue totals $5,000 USD for three consecutive months during the first 12 months of your membership, you can begin to redeem points online.
- Once your company’s eligible revenue totals $25,000 USD on United, United Express, Lufthansa Group and ANA (where applicable) within the 12-month period immediately after enrollment, we will automatically renew your membership. Upon renewal, outstanding points earned during the prior term will remain valid for an additional 24 months.
ETA stands for executive travel agent and looks like an app based assistant. I’ll add this to the list of ways to get free loyalty points.
