- Receive a $25 cash bonus when you pay 5 bill pays or more per month in May, June & July
The Fine Print
- Cash bonus will be deposited directly into your account after the 5 bill pays from each month are completed
- Must be an existing U.S Bank deposit account customer that is enrolled in Online Banking & Bill Pay
- If the Bill Pay requirement is not meet in May you can still receive $10 if you complete the requirements in June & July
- Bill Pays must be processed & processed on the customer’s account within the calendar month
- Bill Pays must be a minimum of $10
- Promotion will run from May 1st to July 31st, 2014
- All bank bonuses are treated as interest and as such you must pay taxes on them
Our Verdict
It’s unfortunate I didn’t know about this offer earlier as I think people will struggle to complete the 5 bill pays before the end of May. That said, I think U.S bank has only recently started to promote this promotion in the hopes that they have to pay out a maximum of $10 per customer.
It’s not a bad little promo and it’s good to see banks offering bonuses to existing customers. If you have a U.S bank deposit account then this is well worth doing. It’s definitely not worth doing if you don’t already have a deposit account with them, as there are better bank deals out there.
