The Offer
- Receive 25 Hertz points for free when you enroll in their Summer Promotion, which also gives you the following bonuses at participating Hertz locations (until September 5th, 2016):
- 275 bonus points on your first qualifying rental
- 275 points on your second
- 550 points on your third
The Fine Print
- Only rentals made after the date of registration will qualify for the promotion
- Valid on paid rentals picked up August 9, 2016 through September 5, 2016, at participating Hertz locations.
- Any car class qualifies for Gold and Five Star® tiers, but President’s Circle® and Platinum requires a Premium car class or above.
- Bonus points will not be awarded on rentals accruing other frequent travel program points. Bonus points will be added to member’s account after the promotion ends on September 9, 2016.
- Member is eligible to receive up to 1,100 Gold Plus Rewards points, which is equivalent to two Free Standard Weekend Rental Days in the U.S. Standard rental qualifications and return restrictions apply.
Our Verdict
25 points will post instantly (log out and in to see them). Unfortunately this promo no longer extends your points but they seem to offer it twice/four times a year and rentals start at 550 points so it could be useful still (especially if you have any paid rentals coming up).
