Can you buy, say, a $50 item and use $10 of SYWR points but pay for the remaining $40 with a card and get the $40 for $40 deal? Or does using any SYWR disqualify you?

A promotion like this: Spend $X and get $X cashback, just means you have to spend the minimum of new money (or gift cards). Anything over that amount can come from points. As someone above said, you can even stack a coupon (whether it’s from what’s available in your account or from another site) or the FREECASH offers that are tied to your account. You just have to make sure that you meet the minimum in new money (or gift cards). You can always play with the numbers in the cart (handy if you happen to get a percentages type of coupon). Not only do you get to verify what you are earning as you play with the coupons, but on the screen that you redeem points as well, so if you need to remove the points and put in a different number, you can.

Are you sure about that? I just called the rep and was told that using points would disqualify me from getting cashback. Have you tried that before?

I can verify (at least in my experience) that what Valkana said is true. I did the microwave $50 in points back on $50 in spend offer a few weeks ago. My total was ~$75. I used about $20 in free cash and $55 out of pocket. I got the $50 in cash bonus points just fine.

Just wanted to let everyone know if you do this offer with Sears (not Kmart), make sure you stack it with RetailMeNot cashback for Sears. They have $10 off $50 right now. This is the link: https://www.retailmenot.com/view/sears.com

Would have to spend $10 extra to get to $50, but you’d get the $10 back through RetailMeNot.

I got a $50 offer with identical terms.

Bought a microwave. Ended up costing me ten bucks or so.

I’ll use the points to buy something else.

It’s a good deal if you need to buy something there.

If I didn’t need delivery it would have been almost free.

One per category. So you could do 8X if you can find something to use/resell in each category. I did some reselling in the last round with mixed success.
