In case you missed the earlier news, Wyndham is making a number of changes to the award program. The biggest of those changes is introducing a tiered award system where properties cost 7,500, 15,000 or 30,000 points per night. I had some follow up questions so I reached out to Wyndham’s media team.
- They don’t anticipate a list of properties in different tiers being available before April 3rd
- If you book a property that currently costs 15,000 points per night before April 3rd and it increases in price you’ll keep the same pricing.
- If you book a property that currently costs 15,000 points per night before April 3rd and it decreases in price you’ll receive an automatic refund of 7,500 points (this will be done after the stay is completed)
- If you’re close to 15,000 points and don’t quite have enough for a free night, they are encouraging you to reach out to [email protected] to work something out
