- American Express members are being offered a transfer bonus of 20% when transferring to Qantas. Normally you can transfer 1,000 MR points and receive 1,000 Qantas miles, during this promotion you’ll receive 1,200 (1:1.2 or 1.3).

Our Verdict
Qantas is also offering a transfer bonus of 15-30% and these offers stack. Qantas is also announcing major changes to it’s loyalty program sometime later today, so I’d wait for news of that before making any transfers. Summary of changes announced:
Increased premium cabin redemption costs.
Decreased cost on long haul economy redemptions.
Decreased fuel surcharges on partner redemptions.
Can now book reward flights on Air NZ domestically in NZ, and between Paris and Singapore or Hong Kong on Air France, and Between Amsterdam and Singapore on KLM. Also a bunch of Thailand domestic flights now available on Bangkok Airways.
