Just beware after the 60 days you will be billed at the current rate, unless you downgrade or cancel.

This is not for everyone. It is for students who receive free (and maybe reduced) lunch. These are low-income families who cannot afford internet. Please do not Attempt to hack this because there are real families who are in need and if spectrum cancels this promotion due to many trying to take advantage, it would be almost impossible for these students to get an education remotely.

Can I cancel the service and re-register with the student’s information?

So, interested to find out what happens in 60 days when you cancel and A. there is no one available to cancel the service, B. no store is open for the device to be returned. Will there be fees because the modem was not turned in on time?

What do they want for “proof” of the kid? like my 3rd grader does not have a student ID.
I don’t think k-12 schools issue ID’s ?
Also received this by mail:

My HS son has a school ID. Not my MH and ES daughters though.
Already have spectrum, what kind of BS is this? Who are they helping?
That’s the beauty of the promotion.
Low income families who cannot afford internet. Be careful, your privilege is showing.
