FYI, the “—DINNER” promo codes for $20 off $20 can be used to preorder food earlier in the day as long as the delivery/pickup time is after 6 PM local time. Best to preorder now before the codes are all used up.

Update: Was able to place a pickup order of $21+ (post-tax) for $0 via Grubhub for pickup at 17:45. I don’t think having GH+ matters for this promo.

the only reason can be so that you targeted for offer emails on both? the offer codes, coupons and perks can differ for two platforms.

I had an account for each of the services before they merged and they never combined them so I kept it. I get targeted with different offers on each, so I just use whichever has better offers.

The benefit says you earn 10% back in GH cash on pick up orders, but when you place a pick up order the app says it’s not eligible for grubhub+ benefit.

Signed up yesterday and got email today saying it was 30 days. Website on desktop said until end of 2021. Took screenshots but doubt anything can fix their incompetency.

Grubhub is consistently $5-$10 more than competitors in California. What’s the point of membership if you’re still going to charge like hell in fees.

Ubereats and Doordash are worse in my area, but Ubereats has slightly more restaurants than Grubhub and Doordash has 5x more the number of restaurants.

Grubhub has a price match guarantee where you get the price matched plus $5 and I’ve done it on almost every order I’ve had so far. You can request another $5 if it’s even 1 minute late past the time given to you in the email.
