FYI, the “—DINNER” promo codes for $20 off $20 can be used to preorder food earlier in the day as long as the delivery/pickup time is after 6 PM local time. Best to preorder now before the codes are all used up.

Update: Was able to place a pickup order of $21+ (post-tax) for $0 via Grubhub for pickup at 17:45. I don’t think having GH+ matters for this promo.

How’d it come out to $0? Even being the promo, they still charged me tax separately almost $2

Where did you get these promo codes / what are they?

If you read the fine print at the bottom, it is only applicable in select areas.

William Charles The link for Seamless works for everyone as well. You can get both as they are treated as separate accounts.

Is there any reason to get both? (in my quick look, they seem the same)

the only reason can be so that you targeted for offer emails on both? the offer codes, coupons and perks can differ for two platforms.

I had an account for each of the services before they merged and they never combined them so I kept it. I get targeted with different offers on each, so I just use whichever has better offers.

The benefit says you earn 10% back in GH cash on pick up orders, but when you place a pick up order the app says it’s not eligible for grubhub+ benefit.

I signed up for this but I’ll probably never use it. It’s like the free BestBuy codes from Apple Music.

Signed up yesterday and got email today saying it was 30 days. Website on desktop said until end of 2021. Took screenshots but doubt anything can fix their incompetency.

I got the same email this morning, but the app says I will be charged $0 for GH+ on October 20. Weird promo!

LOL so I just tried out my new Grubhub+ subscription and I’m still being charged a 6% “service fee”

Glad I didn’t pay for this…

Grubhub is consistently $5-$10 more than competitors in California. What’s the point of membership if you’re still going to charge like hell in fees.

Ubereats and Doordash are worse in my area, but Ubereats has slightly more restaurants than Grubhub and Doordash has 5x more the number of restaurants.

Grubhub has a price match guarantee where you get the price matched plus $5 and I’ve done it on almost every order I’ve had so far. You can request another $5 if it’s even 1 minute late past the time given to you in the email.

Price match items across delivery services like Uber or the restaurant’s menu? And how is it done? Messaging GH support?
