Orbitz is offering $50 off a $100+ hotel booking, when you use MasterPass (similar to Amex checkout for MasterCard) and use the promotional code MasterPass

The Fine Print

Book a qualifying standalone, pre-paid hotel stay (total cost $100 or more) with travel occurring between September 15, 2015 and September 30, 2015 via Orbitz using MasterPass as the payment method and promo code MASTERPASS, and receive $50 off your booking. Most major chains are excluded; to find participating hotels look for the “PROMO CODE ELIGIBLE” message on Orbitz.com hotel listings

Our Verdict

$50 discount is pretty nice, especially if you find a hotel in that $100 sweet spot range. If you don’t already have an Orbitz account then consider using our referral link as you’ll get $25 in Orbitz credit for your first hotel stay.

I’m not sure why, but MASTERPASS took off $100 my reservation of $100 or more for a two night stay. Combined with the Orbucks from the summer promo and some mystery $20 they added, it only cost about $6 for two nights. 🙂

Have you received any of your credits for the Orbitz promo where they asked people to submit photos? I’ve only received $10 for the first week even though I submitted one for each.
