Our Verdict
This would likely be considered the best bonus we’ve ever seen on the card. Previously it was 75,000. It’s been 100,000 a couple of times, but always with a high $20,000 spend requirement. We’ll add this to our list of Best Credit Card Signup Bonuses.
Hat tip to readers Rob and laizyboi
Is there a way to know if i will be eligible if I’m 6/24? I received a mail yesterday inviting me to apply with a code but I’m guessing it was created when I was 5/24 or probably 4/24 (I recently opened two credit cards one of them CSP). A mail offer bypass 5/24?
Is this 85k Aeroplan points or chase reward points?
Aeroplan Card gives Aeroplan points only.
As well, by having the card: “Chase Aeroplan credit cardmembers, get a 10% transfer bonus after transferring 50,000 or more Ultimate Rewards points in a single transaction from an eligible Chase credit card to their Aeroplan account.”
massive rip off award cancellation fee is why I don’t end up booking awards on aeroplan aircanada
Oh, you aren’t kidding. $150-175 CAD. It seems Flex and Latitude fares are exempt, and just top-tier 100K status, too, so even Silver for the first year wouldn’t help there. I’ll admit, I’ve gotten used to the US carriers being more lenient with changing/canceling award bookings at least.
Is this aeroplan card under the limit of 5/24?
I’ve had this card for 5 months and I had no idea it came with the global entry credit lol
Don’t care about air canada flights, but it’s pretty good for booking reward united travel
Can you elaborate? What UA flights have you found that work well? Do you mean North America flights or something else? Thanks.
You can book domestic US United flights if you book with air canada miles. login with aeroplan, click book with miles, and do a search for example LAX to ORD.
Ok. Yes I know you can book UA flights but I haven’t had good luck with those via Aeroplan. When I look for northeast flights with both UA and AC segments I find that UA is often less
Does anyone know if this will bypass 5/24?
Does anyone know if they’re extending the pay yourself back through the end of 2026? I haven’t seen any updated info on that
Chase. It feels so pre-COVID.
