Citi has no current plans of transitioning Prestige cardholders over to the new premium Strata Elite card, per TPG on instagram. The Strata Elite and Prestige lines will co-exist, each with their own benefits and details.
The Citi Prestige card was discontinued for new applicants in 2021, and you can’t even product change into the Prestige card. However, those who hold the card will continue to keep that. You should be able to hold all three premium Citi cards concurrently, if you’d like: Prestige, Strata Elite, Strata Premier.
Update: it’s worth noting that another source has suggested that the Prestige cards will be converted over to Strata Elite in 2026.
