Accor Hotels New Loyalty Program ‘ALL’ (Accor Live Limitless) [Additional Details]

Update 7/4/19: It has been confirmed that Platinum level members will receive two confirmed suite nights sometime later in 2019 and will earn an additional one for every 4,000 status points during a year. Diamond status will also be able to gift gold status and will receive free breakfast on weekends. The breakfast benefit seems weak as I seem to constantly see advertisements for free breakfast and it only works on weekends when most business travelers aren’t traveling. Hat tip to The Shutter Whale

Update 3/4/19: We have some new information about this program (from AUBT via Traveling For Miles). They will be adding two new top tier status levels, will looking like this:

  • Silver: 10 nights or 2,000 Status Points
  • Gold: 30 nights or 7,000 Status Points
  • Platinum: 60 nights or 14,000 Status Points
  • Diamond: 26,000 Status Points, unknown number of nights
  • Black: Invite only

We don’t know what the new status levels will offer, but Accor has stated that the Silver, Gold & Platinum will keep the current benefits they have. The new program will also have suite night upgrade certificates, these will be earned at two levels:

  • First suite night upgrade certificate at 14,000 status points
  • Second suite night upgrade certificate at 18,000 status points
  • Additional suite night upgrade certificates after every additional 4,000 status points

Best price guarantee offer will improve to a 25% rebate (currently it’s a 10% reduction). This will go into effect in Q4 2019.

Original post: Accor has today announced that they are ending the current Le Club rewards program and introducing a new program called ALL (standing for Accor Live Limitless) they are calling it a new lifestyle loyalty program that gives guests access to ‘ALL of Accor’. At the moment we don’t know much about the new program, but we do know a few things:

  • They will introduce a new premium status tier. This will be above the current top status of Platinum.
  • Enriched benefits. I assume this means more benefits for current existing members
  • More opportunities to earn and burn points. This includes an extended partnership with AEG and a new partnership with IMG.
  • New Mobile app.

It’s hard to know what these changes actually mean, as very little information has been given. Based on the press release it all looks positive, but maybe any negative changes are simply not being discussed currently.

An American hotel chain uses the French words for its reward program while a French one uses English. What a twisted world.

Someone’s nephew is getting paid a lot of money to come up with all this ridiculous nomenclature and buzzwords for loyalty programs.

They’ve had a loyalty program but it didn’t include all of their brands up till now.

So you couldn’t earn at Ibis, for example.

Its a difficult one to use. They denied our last stay saying it wasn’t a qualifying rate….even though booked through the hotel and being assured it would earn points.

I’ve noticed that its better to book Fairmonts through Costco, where they will waive the resort fees, and sometimes run 3 for 2 deals, rather than book direct. If loyalty (and booking direct) is not worth it for the brand, I’m happy to book away.

Looking forward to this. Hopefully, 21c Museum Hotels will finally have a loyalty program. Long overdue. Great properties.

If they get a deal with a credit card company like the Fairmont card. Hopefully they’ll be smart not to go with chase
