Airbnb has launched something called Airbnb Adventures, these are small group trips that last from two to ten days. The trips include all lodging, food and activities and the idea is that you’re able to just book and then leave everything to your host/guide. Trips start at $99 per person, but obviously most are considerably more than that.
The odds that these will be good — and good value — is quite low. Just what you need, an amateur leading you around. But maybe if they offer a coupon and could buy discounted airbnb gift cards, maybe somebody can get something out of it. Airbnb seems to be trying to go too far in its niche — kind of like uber launching boat rentals.
Agreed. I’m on a vacation currently and a couple of people told me to check out Airbnb experiences. Most of this stuff you can do for free by yourseld. Oh and it’s pretty expensive imo. There are a few interesting choices though..
