Kroger announced today that they’ll begin accepting Visa cards again in all stores. Back in March, some Kroger stores – such as Smith’s – stopped accepting Visa card due to the excessive cost to the retailer. Kroger has reversed the ban, and will now accept the cards at all locations.
This is great news for those who want to use a Visa card at the grocery, including those who like buying gift cards at Kroger stores.

costco only take visa cards and Kroger wasn’t taking. how funny!
Why did Kroger ban visa instead of Amex? I thought Amex merchandise fee is higher?
