Our Verdict

We’ve seen slightly better deals for first-time Amazon Cash loads in the past (last one was $10 for $30), up to you if you want to wait for a better one. As always, a full list of ways to save on Amazon can be found here.

I am way late for this offer, but was wondering if they do this very often.

I don’t *think* I’ve done anything with Amazon Cash before, but who knows … how can I tell?

You can check through your Amazon gift card balance history to see if there was ever a cash reload. Not sure exactly how it shows up there, but should be apparent.

I was able to load $40 at CVS using self-checkout. The machine had a sign that said cash and coins were not accepted, so I got to use my Chase Freedom Unlimited to pay for it. Got the $10 bonus notification immediately in my email.

YMMV, but it wasn’t required for me!

Definitely not required at CVS.

Strangely, a GameStop rep told me that GameStop no longer loads Amazon Cash!

Another DP at Gamestop – The employee at the store confidently told me no one has done this in 2 years at Game stop. What bs! I am pretty sure Amazon cash as a program didn’t exist until recently. And also what sorta excuse is this. The general level of knowledge and ignorance is appalling really

Same here. I was asked to use a card for payment. Loaded 3 accounts (mine & my family members’)

Do these transactions show as Amazon.com or something else on your card statement?

Worked like a charm. 10 bucks off a new micro SD card I needed. Thanks, DOC!

Made the mistake of doing this offer previously, only to find it useless as the “sold by Amazon” products are not only very limited but also useless to me. i let the credit expire
