Sweet! I can still resell these for a tidy profit at my local senior center! Giant Eagle and USPS shut us down reselling them next to the Girl Scout cookie table! /s
I was able to place the order for 80 earlier and then deal was over. I was able to place order for 100 just now at 1:24 ET
Thanks I got the 80 in earlier and was able to pick up the 100 as well….looks to be 95% claimed
This is a pretty routine sell price for $100 FV stamps on eBay. And stacked with a 10 ,15 or 20% off coupon, you can get stamps for 30-40% off. This deal really isn’t that great.
I had ordered some but I don’t trust Amazon to police fakes on its site whenever a 3rd party seller is involved. I’ll just buy more when the next ebay, costco, or google express deal comes out.
Is the deal getting lighter? Unless it is, this should be “lightning”.
Perhaps it was enlightening?
*lightning rather than lightening 😊
Fixed, thanks

People still send stuff via mail nowadays? just curious…
We use them for Menards or certain other rebates and Christmas cards for grandparents. That’s about it.
My mom does – she’s in her eighties, though. It’s very unusual for me to; in fact, almost all the stamps I use are for mom’s mailings.
I refuse to Pay the $20 to e-file with our State for Personal and Biz Tax returns so we do mail those, we do use the included free Federal E-files with H&R Block SW.
Last month I had to mail in a State EV rebate (odd that no electronic way for a green program in a green leaning state for a incentive on a a “green” vehicle.
I was shocked to learn that stamps had gone up to $.55 -but with Chase Amazon card stamps were net $.40.
Re: Concerns about counterfeit stamps, FWIW I’m not aware of any way to identify a real vs a counterfeit printed stamp ( no magnetic ink, invisible ink, or other such low or high tech). If it was a huge problem, which I could become – then I could see laws being passed that would prohibit unauthorized or online stamps sales from Amazon, e-Bay, Craigslist.
I do miss the days that you could cash stamps back in at the Post office.
Just curious how does the Chase Amazon card makes stamps .40 net instead of .55?
David
The Lighting deal was 100/$42.50 – Chase Amazon Prime gives me 5% CB so I rounded down to .40 cent instead of .40375 cents.
got it, sorry I didn’t realize you meant in conjunction with this deal, I thought you may have meant you can regularly buy them for .40 🙂
There are still lines of seniors at the post office during the day… even post-VGC/MO.
I put myself on the waitlist for the book of 20 and was able to get the deal. Oddly, it’s sold by a 3d party and it says that I won’t have them until April 1 but I don’t need them quickly. Used to go thru a lot of stamps when I was doing mail-in rebates on software but that’s pretty much dried up.
The pack of 80 is still available.
Got the 80 pack, won’t be in stock until Mar 23 but that’s fine with me!
100 pack is gone
