Do not recommend. Tried this last year and they lost stuff in transit but still tried to charge me after 7 days. Wasted hours to remove the charges from my account.

And that can happen to any return, not specific to this offer!

Majority of items sold and shipped by amazon, still no problem to return if not fit. Only difference is Charged while shipping out (if return, they refund later, they got fund usage – interests during that period) ; and Charged after 7 days u decide to keep.

For customers, almost the same unless u care about being charged first or not. So not quite understand why amazon create “try before you buy”?

Andy ,
This is a great option If you plan to pay with promotional credits. Normally, if you buy and return, you will not get the promo credit back.

I think the idea is to try and make clothing buying more similar to what a lot of people are used to in traditional stores. I for one don’t generally buy stuff on Amazon if I’m not sure I’ll keep it. I don’t buy clothing with the intention of just seeing if it fits or I like how it looks on me and return it otherwise. I’m sure a lot of people don’t buy stuff at Amazon with the intention of returning it. I’m not even sure if Amazons return policy officially allows returns for ‘didn’t really like how it looked on me’ for clothing. So I’m sure the marketing here is to allow for more casual clothing shopping for people who aren’t already just returning whatever they didn’t turn out wanting. There are also probably people who simply can’t afford the up front price of buying say 3 pairs of shoes at once to try and check the fit before returning 2 pairs so someone like that could use this option.

Does the item need to be shipped and sold by amazon?
