Check your AmEx Offers for the following deal:

Earn 1,000 additional Membership Rewards points after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $40 in one or more purchases online at Amazon.com by 7/19/2026. Limit of 3,000 total Membership Rewards points. (3x uses)
Another version offers 500 points after $50 spend. (3x)
Another version offers 1,200 points after $150 spend. (3x)

The Fine Print

Qualifying Purchases Offer valid online only at US website amazon.com or through the Amazon app.
Not valid on purchases shipped outside of the US. See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas.
Excludes corporate gift card and custom-designed gift card purchases.
Excludes Prime memberships and auto-renew subscription services.
Purchases must be made in USD, and offer is only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant.
Offer not valid on purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries.

Our Verdict

The $40/1,000 version is especially nice. Personally, I found the 500 points offer on my Blue Business Plus card.

I’ll simply load up my Amazon balance (here’s our affiliate link to the reload page) three times for $50 each and be done with it. (In the past, it’s even worked with a single large purchase to get all the bonus points with one purchase, but I’ll do three purchases to be safe.)
