Just because they’re not being mandated doesn’t mean they won’t still be required. Still will need them in those states for a lot of businesses.

I only see a $4 coupon from the merchant when I click the above link to Amazon.

Armbrust USA makes their masks in Texas with 100% melt blown plastic and allows PayPal for checkout – a good way to get a “free” box of 50 every month. I’ve found the Amazon masks to be of varying quality and authenticity in terms of being melt blown, not to mention the crappy ties/straps.

How is it a good way to get “free” masks?

They sell 50 masks for $29.90. The Amex Platinum monthly PayPal credit is $30. I put free in quotes because the card has a $550 annual fee.

You’re encouraging people to waste the $30 credit on 50 masks when those can be bought for just $5 or less. Doesn’t make sense to me.

Is anyone buying these for resale? I know they’re not GC but they’ve gotta be worth something, right?

limit 1 at that price. hardly seems worth the effort of place an order, receiving it, and then reselling it.

Many reviews state this is of poor quality. Worth it for your health? I’d pay twice, three times more for a good one (in my experience, the BYD).

The predominant issue seems to be the elastic straps and not the mask layers themselves. This is probably why they’re so heavily discounted.

Then again, if you’re going to wear them as fashionable chin diapers then you should probably get your money’s worth and pay full price.

BYD is not designed properly because the straps point in the opposite direction. It makes the mask fray outwards, causing gaps to appear.

Very strange, mine are excellent and I purchased from a reliable source. Some of their masks have FAA approval (501k).

Prime member here. My cart price is $12.99 pre-$7 coupon as well. Could also be because I jumped on the site a bit later than earlier posters.

I should have mentioned in my original comment. I’m a prime member and still see $12.99.

Had to mess around with the “seller” that Amazon wanted to choose for me. Kept showing in cart as 12.99 base price. Finally worked it out to 4.99 after tax with the right seller chosen.

It was like $2.89 per mask during a certain period last year…
