Our Verdict

They do this during holiday/promo seasons, I think Prime Day was the last one. At checkout, you’ll clearly see the 15% showing if you select your eligible Prime card as payment.

“At checkout, you’ll clearly see the 15% showing if you select your eligible Prime card as payment.” … Chase Prime Amazon Signature (the black card) is default on my checkout. Tried a couple of items from the eligible items link above. Neither showed anything but the regular “Earns 5% Back” So… seems dead or fubar.

It still works. You will see a very small link/arrow under your Amazon card once you are on the final checkout page (but before you hit “Buy). It will say something like additional rewards.

Anything good? I went through the kitchen and electronics sections and I couldn’t find any: knives or cooking implements (eg pots, pans); laptops or any accessories at all apart from UPS’s.
