Right — if you’re doing the 20% extra Membership Rewards promo. I mentioned this additional loophole on a “deal of the day” promo, and it also works on the lightning deals. Really sweet because the extra AMEX 20% off comes off the full price. Obviously, buying $50 GCs for $29.50 for merchants you shop at is pretty sweet!
