Original Post: American Airlines & Hyatt have announced a new partnership that will go live sometime later in 2019. Members of both programs will be able to earn additional points through this partnership.
- AAdvantage Gold, Platinum, Platinum Pro, Executive Platinum and ConciergeKey will earn one American Airline mile for every eligible dollar spent at qualifying Hyatt properties (in addition to the Hyatt points you’d normally earn). ConciergeKey members will also receive World of Hyatt Globalist status
- World of Hyatt Discoverist, Explorist and Globalist members will earn one world of Hyatt point for every dollar spent on qualifying American Airline flights (in addition to the American Airline miles you’d normally earn).
There will also be a number of status challenges available as well. Basically a win/win as these extra points are in addition to what you’d normally earn. When the program goes live and it’s possible to register we will of course do another post.
