The American Express Amazon Business Card normally offers Amazon Prime members the choice between 5% cash back or 90 days interest free on purchases at Amazon Business, AWS, Amazon.com and Whole Foods Market. Currently during checkout the option appears to receive 5% back plus 90 day payment terms.
Unfortunately when selecting this option users aren’t receiving the 5% back as promised. Amazon is saying this is an American Express issue and American Express is saying this is an Amazon issue. There is also a further issue with cashback not posting problem. Some items earn Amazon cardholders additional cash back (see coverage of a previous offer here) and this additional cashback isn’t posting either.
I imagine at some time Amazon & American Express will work out who’s fault this actually is and resolve the issue.
