Just trying to understand what does it mean for someone whose annual fee is due by end of January. If I use my second half of Dell credit by Dec 31st this year them am I still eligible for next Dell credit next year?

I think Dell will no longer price match other stores, correct? Has anyone successfully price matched?

Tired of these “credits” just cancel them already and move it to some better multipliers

Personally, I’m in the opposite camp. I redeem my credits for laptops which have good CPUs for the $200 credit, Dell rewards, and Amex offers. Then I buy extra SSDs and RAM sticks off Amazon, stacking additional Amazon CC points offers (i.e. use 1 point, get $40 etc.).

I recently got a really powerful laptop built with the $200 credit, another $50 and $25 through Amex offers by splitting CC payments, ~$20 Dell credit, and $30 Amazon offer on parts.

Gifting the family new laptops for Christmas before supposed tariffs possibly arrive.

Dell losers have nothing worth to buy. Removed Bose headphones etc
Was hoping AMEX would remove this useless credit and replace with something better 🤦🏻‍♂️

My last purchase, Dell waited a week to ship my order (and charge me) and I ended up losing my credit for the first half of the year. Punks.

Useless response.

Really? Sometimes we all need to be slapped into reality… don’t blame the corp/bank/FI for a failure to plan ahead. Pretty sure it wasn’t Dell holding back their stock to get vengeance. The altruistic customer has since probably canceled their order and “lost” nothing.

Thanks for the drunk post. Always love the really late night drunk posts from primarily the 2 referral churners of the site. At least it was civil this time. 👍

can you triple dip the dell promo since your annual fee will most likely ender far after a half year dell credit renewal?

Seeing as its going away in Q2 2025 and its bi-annually, there’s only 2 possible dips to take in with the credit left. So no.

yes, this should work. I have opened several biz plats around Dec 20 and have triple dipped on the airfare incidental and the dell credit. You’ll want to make your Dell purchase on Jan 1, though.

You could quadruple dip if you open in Dec but you’re assuming the credits will go beyond Jun 2025, which is a big assumption at this point.

That’s not a dip..

Opening in Dec would allow you to triple dip on one annual fee.

What’s not a dip? I am well aware of what a triple dip is and my comment applies.

Just because the Dell credit is every half year doesn’t mean you’re “quadruple dipping” just as how a monthly Uber Amex gold credit doesn’t mean you 13-dip or whatever that term would be.

you cant really do a triple dip if it ends june 30, 2025. you could do one more for 2024 and 1 for the first half of 2025 though

The CapitalOne Shopping extension has yielded some emailed offers with 25% CB on Dell Accessories for me this month. Just a FYI for anyone looking to stack cashback deals.

Adobe and Indeed credits are useless to me. Disappointed that Dell removed the Sony noise cancelling headphones. They need to revamp with Office Depot or other useful biz store

I assume the post should say extended to June 2025, not 2024
