- Card earns at the following rates:
- 2x miles per $1 spent on restaurants (including takeout and delivery), groceries and Delta purchases
- 1x miles per $1 spent on all other purchases
- $100 Delta Flight Credit when you spend $10,000 in purchases on your Card in a calendar year
- First Checked Bag Free
- 20% Back on In-flight Purchases
- Receive Main Cabin 1 Priority Boarding on Delta flights
Our Verdict
There is also a 70,000 miles + $200 statement credit offer. This is a better offer for people that value Delta miles at more than 1¢ per point. The fine print does say when you pay the taxes & fees on this flight so you might actually need to make the award booking for the 20,000 bonus miles to post. I suspect that any Delta flight will trigger the offer, but you never know with American Express. We will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

I am getting the pop-up block due to not having enough miles too. Is anyone able to provide a referral link (not sure if this is an option or if it is only emailed). My SO also has AMEX cards but since she doesn’t have a Delta card, she can not refer me. Any way around this?
Only referral links that exist right now are for 70k miles + waived AF+ $200 on home furnishing :(. Would be glad to give you one for that though lol
Or wait I guess some people are seeing 90k with a link but idk how to get that
pop-up for me 🙁
I am seeing the same 90,000 point offer for the Amex Delta Gold card using a referral from P2 or just opening an incognito window. Therefore, no need to purchase a flight
pop-up.. FUCK YOU AMEX!!
Would it be better if I allocate the spending evenly across my cards. I have 17 Amex rn.
this offer has lifetime restriction; already having had that many accts / cards, lol, u may likely had this card before, unless a link with NLL is now available
Easy man, will devalue again, sooner or later
Any way to get the business card offer to show instead of the personal one?
Signed up for this card a day before the new bonus came out. I wonder if there’s a chance I could get it matched.
Amex doesn’t match, but you might get some goodwill points
Unfortunately, I’ve always heard that AMEX does not match new offers.

what about the language? There or not?
Click on “Offer Terms”. Mine said the following:
Welcome offer not available to applicants who have or have had this or previous versions of this Card. We may also consider the number of American Express Cards you have opened and closed as well as other factors in making a decision on your welcome offer eligibility.
thanks, i’m out
DON’T do this if you are in two player mode! You could refer the other player and bank the 70k + $200 “furniture” credit + referral bonus.
I’m guessing this only works if one of the players currently has a delta card. Right?
Nope. Can refer from Amex MR card to Delta card and get the 70k + $200 furnishing credit.
Any Amex card can refer to any other Amex card now so you don’t need a DL card to refer another person to a DL card.
But then I won’t get any referral bonus, correct? Since I don’t have a DL card. If not, what currency would I receive the bonus in?
Co-branded cards can only refer to other cards with the same co-brand (i.e., any Delta card can refer to any other Delta card; any Hilton card can refer to any other Hilton card). MR cards can refer to *any* Amex card, including co-brands. The referrer gets the standard MR referral bonus for the card they referred from, regardless of which card the recipient chooses. If you have multiple MR cards, pick the one that has the highest referral bonus.
You can see this in action: copy your referral link, open an incognito window and paste it in, then click on View all Cards with a Referral Offer
Thanks for explaining. In that case it would make sense to refer from the Amex gold card since it has the increased referral bonus of 30k.
any link for a similar offer with the NLL?
The 70kmiles +$200 statement credit offer for this card after any delta purchase seems like much better deal IMO
I see this offer, but have no plans to use Delta
