Check your AmEx Offers on Membership Rewards-earning cards to see if you got a spend bonus offer. Sample offers:
- Spend $11,000, get 5,500 bonus points
- Spend $14,500, get 4,000 bonus points
- Spend $29,500, get 7,500 bonus points
These offers can be done three times.
Our Verdict
A lot of people are seeing one form or another of these offers. These require ridiculous amounts of spend for a small bonus, but certainly worth saving if you’re doing big spend on the card regardless.
It says add by 12/31/22 and then you have 90 days to meet spending. Might be ok to add on the BBP at the end of this year since the 2X 50K annual limit reset at the same time.
Are these offers guaranteed to show in your queue even if you have more than 100 available?
Not sure where else to ask this, but since this is Amex, has anyone else been having issues with Walmart+ monthly credit not issuing promptly on the Plat? Most recently it was charged as “Annual” even though the amount is the same monthly one, and a rep said that’s why it didn’t credit.
I got “Spend $4,500+, get 6,500 Membership Rewards® points, up to 3 times on my BBP” which is pretty good tbh.
Mine is: Spend $192,500+, get 19,500

Nothing, I guess after a retention offer, an AU bonus, a referral, and a Pay-Over-Time enrollment bonus this year, they figure I’ve had enough.

Spend $30,500 get 8000 points up to 3x by the end of the year. Got it on 4 cards.
Spend 31k for 8k pts lmao
I had spend 15k get 7.5k in the last round of these.. I had the spend coming anyway on the Gold card so I put ~20k on it, never saw the 7.5k points. The promo ended more than 6 weeks ago.
Same, I also hit the spend requirements 2x 2 months ago, the offer ended 2 weeks ago, and have not seen any credit yet. When I asked in the chat they said it could take up to one statement period.
