American Express is sending out a $50 credit pegged “Saks Benefit Goodwill”. This seems to be showing for those who signed up for the card recently, but not for those who had the card for a while.
I’m not sure if this is just a goodwill gesture for new cardholders or some sort of legal thing (something to do with charging a first year annual fee and changing benefits in mid-year).
For context, American Express discontinued the $50 twice-year Saks benefit starting yesterday, July 1, 2026.
