Our Verdict
There is also a $20 rebate, but that has to be purchased from a specific website and I don’t think that will trigger the AmEx offer or the portal cash back. I’m sure there is a way to stack this more, I just don’t know what it is yet. I don’t think 1.52¢ per point is particularly good value – especially when it’s a relatively small number of points but might be useful for those just need a few more points for a specific award flight.
In the past they have also offered up to 85% cash back, so that would be a slightly profitable deal as well.

All the portals (including Avios) excludes Norton Premiere Edition. However, I don’t see such a version. Do they actually mean the Premium Edition? If it is, then it won’t qualify for the cashback. AmEx offer would still work, of course, but without the cashback, it won’t be a good deal.
Just a quick comment to say that I was able to get a good deal on H&R Block tax software stacking some deals too…
BeFrugal links had the software at a good discount plus 18% cash back plus the AMEX offer. The only other portal I checked was TopCashBack (higher price on software, but 20% cash back), so someone else might find a better option, but I was happy with what I got.
If you have a Business Gold Rewards, Symantec purchases fall under their “cloud/software/hardware” bonus category.
