[Expired] Amex Offers: Sling TV, Spend $25 & Get $10 Back (3x)

Deal has expired, view more AmEx offers by clicking here.

The Offer

No direct link, check your Amex Offers to find this one

  • Get a $10 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make a single purchase of $25 or more online at Sling.com by 12/31/2019. Limit of 3 statement credits (total of $30).

The Fine Print

  • Offer valid online only at Sling.com.
  • Purchases may not qualify if not billed directly by the merchant. For example, if you purchased your subscription through a third party device/digital platform, cable/wireless/internet provider, you may get billed by the party you signed up with, and not directly by the merchant.
  • Qualifying charges must post to your account before the campaign end date in order to be considered eligible.
  • If you are a new customer receiving a free trial, you may not be charged until the free trial period has lapsed.

Our Verdict

This should be useful to some. Looks like there might be some small portal offers for new signups; the Amex deal will work even for existing subscribers.

Save the offer on your Blue Cash Preferred card and you’ll get 6% cashback as well for streaming services.

But it was a way better deal to pay the discounted rate for a full year and put it on my CIC for 5x…

Of course they had to make it $25 and not $24.99, lol. Currently have just Sling Blue but guess this is a good excuse to add the $10 sports package (with NFL Redzone) for basically free. Thanks!

Got the offer 2x. Anyone use this service? Is it any good? Big hassle to cancel? We watch live TV, not so much movies and season shows. Thanks.

I used a three month promo that came with Fire Stick from Prime day – signed up for Blue + $5 DVR (50 HRs). Easy to cancel.

Long time Cord cutters, but use for Summer shows that I started watching from other streaming services but are broadcast on cable channels before ending up on Hulu, Netflix, etc Mayans MC, Snowfall, Suits, Pearson, Killjoys, Animal Kingdom as well you get some NFL an NCAA football (Blue – no ESPN).

Signed up for Youtbue TV, but ATM too much hassle to sideload on Firestick – so I’ve not messed with it much.

PS.
I add the DVR for $5 to exceed the $24.99 – So it makes Sling Blue or Orange $14.99 (you could sign up for Blue + Orange for $40 so it would be $25 or you could add on a Spanish or other Int’l package as well to break the $25 mark)

One minor edit Sling Orange is $25 But Blue is $24.99 , but if you go with Blue many other add-on options from $3+ , Kids, News, Comedy, Showtime etc So not just DVR or Int’l packages.

Also I guess if your a new subscriber (or churning accts) Blue + Orange is $25 for the first Month or $10 to try with Amex Offer. This is basically the same offer that the Fire stick Prime day came with for new subs. (but this will stack for final 30 days).

It’s good for the baseball playoffs. 7-day free trial may be all you need depending on your team 🙂 canceling was easy the last time I had a free trial (2016)

as of 9.26.19 Sling Blue has lost FSN 1 FSN2 and FoX – so some MLB playoffs are NLA as well as College FB and some NFL games – so Sling blue is now overpriced.

But apparently Dish is in the same boat – so now choices are $50 YTTV if you want access to some out if market broadcast

From sling website “What happened to my FOX channels?

We’re constantly working to provide you with the best service at the best value, with the greatest flexibility. Unfortunately, the owners of FOX Network, FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports 2 have made the deliberate decision to block your access to their channels. They have made unreasonable demands, and we refuse to impose those demands on you, our customer”.

Sling gets 6% back on BCP. Hopefully after you get your $10 back?
