[Expired] Amex Offers: Verizon Business Fios, Get 7,500 Points or $75 with $75 Charge [can be used twice]

Deal has expired, view more AmEx offers by clicking here.

The Offer

Check your American Express business cards for the following offer:

  • Use your enrolled American Express card to buy Verizon Business Fios. Spend a minimum of $75 by phone at 1-833-432-8895 or at Verizon.com/amex75 and get 7,500 additional Membership Rewards points. Limit of 15,000 points (use offer twice).
  • Use your enrolled American Express card to buy Verizon Business Fios. Spend a minimum of $75 by phone at 1-833-432-8895 or at Verizon.com/amex75 and get $75 back as a statement credit. Limit of $150  (use offer twice).

The Fine Print

  • In order to be eligible for the offer, you must enroll your Card by 12/31/2018 and use that Card on Verizon Business Fios Services by 2/28/2019.
  • Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem.
  • Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels.
  • Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Your enrollment does not extend to any other Cards that may be linked to the same Membership Rewards program account (such as Additional Cards).
  • Offer valid online only at verizon.com/amex75 or by phone at 1-833-432-8895.
  • Not valid in-store.
  • Excludes Authorized retailers, consumer FiOS transactions, Verizon Wireless transactions and all other Verizon services and products.

Our Verdict

Targeted offer, terrific for Fios customers. The wording of the offer is vague, but I believe it’ll work for paying your regular Fios bill OR for Fios signup costs. It may only work for business Fios or it might work for any Fios charge. In the past, some of these offers from cellular providers work with other products from that provider (despite the terms), please let us know if you try for your cellular bill, cable, etc.

Update: Data points in the comments indicate that paying consumer Fios works to trigger the confirmation email, yay!

Last we know, you can overpay up to $2,499, so if you somehow get a bunch of these offers (e.g. various SSNs), you should be able to load yourself up which is quite helpful.

Most of us won’t have more than one or two of these offers since it’s targeted on business cards and we’re now limited to one Amex Offer per person. Remember, you can save one cash offer for $30 back and another points offer for 3,000 points back (if you find both of these on your cards) since that’s considered separate. I only found the offer on one of my cards so far.

On a related note, there’s currently an offer for AT&T business wireless going on now as well.

Used all my offers today. I’d advise to use them before 12.31.2018 as they show on actual offer that it will expire in 3 days even thought small print says 2/28/2019.
I know you can argue with amex and get it posted manually, but considering most of us are paying residential FIOS I would avoid that discussion.

Data point: You can have a credit of at least $890 on your residential FIOS account.

No more payments from me for next 10 months unless another Amex FIOS promo comes around 🙂

Yes got emails. Except for 1 account for which amex offer emails stopped coming about 1 year ago, but credits are still posting anyway.

I just found this on a cash preferred account under a different login from what i used earlier in november and used it. this account has one business card (amex cash rewards) and one personal on it. I tried multi-tab method in early november and it only let me add it to a couple of accounts instead of the 4 or so that they were listed on. Total of $450 credit from amex.

Worked on home Fios for me too, credit posted to my account today. This is one of the best straight up cash savings no-hassle Amex offers I’ve received in awhile. $300 of free internet access in my household.

For the people who can do personal fios payments, does it actually say FIOS in the name or just verizon wireless or what?

It says:
VERIZONCOMFIOS

No, it does not. I tried paying $75 for my personal verizon cell. Did not get email or the credit.

Does the $75 have to be on a single purchase or can I have two $55 charges to trigger the credit?

I have the offer on all of mine personal and business accounts.

But boy, they closed that multitab trick well. tried business card on my PC on WIFI, and personal card with same SSN on my phone using 4G (so everything different regarding devices, IPs,,,) clicked both “add offer” within 1 second and got the message that I already used the offer on one of them and got success on the other one.

I have my autopay on(set up for debit card) and receive $10 discount every time even though I only pay using credit cards and Staples visa gift cards.

Just keep that $10 autopay as is, and disregard the warning during the payment with CC

My auto pay requires checking account.
I have to deroll the auto pay to use the aemx card , then enroll auto pay with checking again.

Just to confirm. When we read 1 per card member for across all AMEX cards. Does it mean my AU can use it if he/she does not use it on their personal card? Can the main account have 3 uses of this with 3 separate SSN when the 3 other AU have no other personal/business card usage of this deal with AMEX? Thanks in advance
