Just wanted to say thanks Doc! P2 and I each enjoyed a free one. We have one up the street still, but haven’t had a chance to check it out yet. Decided to support by being a paying customer as well – in fact, I stacked a 10% chase offer I had on my Reserve card.
Hard to believe that back in the 70s that there were more A&W locations than McDonald’s in the US and the they used to be drive-ins like some Sonic locations.
I rember these shot glass sized kids root beer floats ( maybe a little bigger than shot glasses), and we used to take a lot of road trips, more often than we flew, now it’s the reverse with my kids.
I also remember a time when Politican’s were honest and ethical. No, no wait that was a dream I had……
