Reposting this because it’s available on all of the MLB cards and I know some people couldn’t deal with having a Yankees card.

Picking A Partner
I can currently only see this on the New York Yankees affinity card, but it might be available on other affinity cards as well. The reason you might care is because the affinity partner receives payment for card sign up’s and spend (the actual cards are exactly the same apart from the card design). For example on the Komen card they have the following relationship:
For each new Pink Ribbon BankAmericard Cash Rewards™MasterCard® credit card benefiting Komen that is activated within 90 days of opening, Komen receives $3 and 0.08% of all retail purchases (less returns) made with the card. Komen also receives $3 for each renewal of a card that was in good standing during the 12 month period and does not have a zero balance at the time of the renewal.

Our Verdict
The standard offer on this card is $100 after $500 in spend, but it’s been increased to $175 twice (December – March in both 2014-2015 and 2015-2016). It’s not the best cash credit card sign up bonus, but it’s one of the better options. Another good thing is that Bank of America combines multiple applications into a single hard inquiry. It’s also possible to eventually downgrade this card to a better balance rewards card and earn up to $120 per year, but this has been getting harder and harder to do in recent times.
