In June Alaska Airlines CFO stated they would love to be a transferable partner for Bank of America. Alaska Airlines has now announced that eligible Bank of America credit cards will be eligible to transfer points to the Atmos program. In the statement it also says ‘Atmos Rewards also plans to add points-transfer opportunities with other select global financial institutions’, I think global is the key word there so I wouldn’t expect to see other U.S. based issuers being transferable to Atmos. We don’t have any details on what cards will be able to transfer to Atmos but the new feature is expected to launch in 2027.
Alaska Airlines also announced a few other interesting things:
- New debit card to launch in 2027
- Atmos Rewards Visa Business Card will be refreshed later this year (10x points on eligible purchases through Atmos Rewards for Business, lounge passes, free same-day confirmed flight changes and more)
