Double cash back day
Expires 10/11/2020
To qualify for double cash back, you must activate dining or retail* BankAmeriDeals® before making a purchase at the merchant with an eligible Bank of America debit or credit card on 10/10/2020 or 10/11/2020.

Double cash back will apply to the amount earned for each eligible deal. Review each deal for requirements.

The double cash back will not post immediately or at the same time as your initial cash back. The double cash back should be reflected on the Earned tab within a week of the initial cash back appearing. Coins & their value will not be doubled.

*Excluded from this offer are all non-dining & non-retail deals such as travel, lodging, subscriptions & service-based deals.

For more info, see the double cash back day FAQ in the How Deals Work tab in online banking.
NOTE: offers only valid when you pay with your Bank of America® debit or credit card enrolled with this program.

I had a mere 5% at rite aid and it did say no gift cards. But I did buy a Disney gc since I have pharmacies chosen as my 3%’er. So shall see what discount I get. Any guesses

You should get the 2x 5% at Rite Aid even for gift cards. It did for me at CVS and Staples when I bought gift cards. I should have waited until today for the 2x.

Would the “maximum cash back” mean that the limit remains, or that it is doubled today?

Didn’t buy anything. I had an Applebee’s offer that expired yesterday but I went today. Fortunately I got a new 10% offer today from Chase and was able to use it, but 20% off would have been nicer (plus I could have used it on my 5.25% restaurant category Cash Rewards card instead of my 1.5% Freedom card.

What to buy at Staples ? Is there any GC offer without fee or you had to buy something anyways ?

I just bought Amazon gift cards, which I planned to do anyway with the offer.

Just for shopping off Amazon?

That, or gifts. I always spend money there at some point and it’s one of the few that are usually excluded when there are gift card deals. I have the 5% Prime card but this is 10% (maybe 20% if it doubles).

Is Airbnb considered retail? Just wondering in case it comes back again by 10/12

edit: oh, I have a $15 deal for Fubo.. so doubled.. that would be $30?

Airbnb is not retail, its travel. And Fubo is a subscription, so unfortunately neither one would qualify

So, naturally my AT&T $35 offer expires on 10/9.

Wouldn’t that fall under the exclusions anyway?

No, The AT&T offer is a retail deal. It has worked to purchase accessories and is not limited to phone bills.

Mine covers today. I wonder how they’re determining “retail” (i.e. bought a case in-store) vs paying a bill online…

Can you clarify. If I have 10% back at cvs up to 4. Does that mean it’s 8$ back on 40 if the purchase is made on 10/12/19?
