The Fine Print
- To qualify for the 1500 extra points, you must have net Qualifying Purchases totaling $150 or more at retail stores and online merchants using your BBVA Compass American Express Card POST to your account between November 23, 2017 and November 27, 2017
Our Verdict
Nice little bonus there, it’ll end up as 11.5% back on the $150 in purchases after accounting for the regular rewards + bonus. Most people also got a spend offer to get $100 after adding the BBVA card to their BBVA Wallet and spending $1k or $2k or $4k or $5k; this $150 can contribute to that too. (There’s also a BBVA grocery bonus which expires today and won’t stack.)
