The Fine Print
- Spend must be completed 12/17 – 12/31
- Bonus is in addition to the standard 1.5% earn
Our Verdict
I got the first offer mentioned above and a friend got the second; there are likely other versions too. These are sweet bonuses, especially since it’s on top of the standard earn for a total net rewards rate of 11.5% with the first offer and almost 10% with the second.
There have been a number of targeted BBVA spend offers recently; importantly, there’s a currently available offer that some were targeted to get $100 with a certain amount of spend (after first linking the card in your BBVA Wallet). That would stack beautifully with this offer if you were targeted for both.
