[Expired] BeFrugal: $35 Referral Bonus

Deal has ended, view more BeFrugal deals by clicking here.

The Offer

Direct link to offer (our referral link)

  • BeFrugal is offering a $35 bonus when you sign up using our referral link and earn $10 in cash back.

Our Verdict

Standard offer is $10 back, so this is a considerable increase but it has been as high as $40 in the past (was $30 last year). We also get a $20 bonus (we tried to reduce this to give the full bonus to our readers but this wasn’t possible) so this is a nice way of supporting the site. Deal runs until 3/16/25.

I have only done one deal with them in the past and it was a massive $80 payout and it was credited without any issues

Thanks, everyone for your comments – I think I’ll stay away from this one!

BeFrugal has worked fine for me. Though, I haven’t used them very many times.

Another voice to warn you away.
They sucked 6+ years ago and it seems nothing has changed.
Burned once, stopped using them, never missed them.
Here’s hoping they disappear into the vast and deep morass of failed rip off scammers where they belong.

Yeah, avoid these guys as well. They don’t pay out and I had a pending cashback for over a year as well. I even filed a claim with the BBB.

Avoid them – they only ever paid out pennies, any real deal was never tracked and they always said tickets failed. CapitalOne and Rakuten will actually payout money. I don’t think they would have ever paid out because of the minimum redemption amounts and a strange second category of ‘points’ that I couldn’t find any way to redeem.

Of all the cashback sites I have used over the years, befrugal got to be the worst. Their customer service is one guy named Todd. My cashback for peacock subscription remained at pending for almost a year. With multiple ticket responses always saying we are working on it etc. After close to a year they said sorry couldn’t get paid from peacock can’t pay you. The ticket is closed.
I personally wouldn’t refer anyone to this site.

Stay away from this shopping site. My purchases fails to track but not so with other cashback websites. Upon inquiring, they blame it on popup blockers and some canned email response to push you away!

Can you give us an estimate of how much you’re earning from this blog alone (without the various referral bonuses)? I’m curious.

lol dude why in the world would the guys who run this publicly disclose to you how much they make? You can’t have seriously thought you’d get an answer.

I mean they’re more than welcome to not answer it but pay/revenue transparency isn’t particularly rare, especially in an order of magnitude. It’s not like this is some highly competitive venture tech company.

Personally, I hope the blog is earning a lot – DoC has helped me earn $1000’s+
