Our Verdict
This app/company has some very bad reviews, so use at your own risk.  People have reported a lot of issues, with the app and getting what is promised in the past, I’d recommend reading through this Slickdeal threads (1, 2, 3). The fact that the gift cards aren’t delivered until the 15th also doesn’t fill me with confidence. We’ve also posted about a similar deal in the past here. As always we just post the deals, I’ll leave it to you to decide if you want to go for this one or not, but I’m going to sit this one out.
Definitely don’t. I purchased the $1000 uber credits, cost $500, in Oct 2017. Said delivery would be by Dec 31 2017.
Guess what? It’s april 2018 and they’ve completely ghosted everyone who purchased them and haven’t received them.
I have not received the codes yet either and the support email are now just ending my e-mails right back at me (probably deactivated). It’s starting to smell like a grab and dash. I suggest everyone do a charge back immediately, write to DOJ, and confront the CEO, Andrew J. Chapin, in his twitter channel @andrewjchapin and his partners. He looks like he is trying to start other businesses, it’s in the public interest to stop this guy before he Madoff’s more people.
I had to email them twice but to their credit they were quite prompt in responding. I did get my code on. 8/24 and it was indeed a working code for $250.
Its September 1 and I haven’t got anything yet. Will contact company, but very ready to do a chargeback.
Sep 6 now – Have sent a note to them on this now to find out.

$250 uber gc for $170 (took 1 month to receive)
$1000 uber gc for $500 (took 3 months to receive – huge delay but they gave me $50 off my next order which I used below)
$500 uber gc for $350 (took 1 month to receive)
All the gift cards worked, saved a ton on uber so far. Don’t expect the codes quickly, they will take a long time. If I had to do it over again, I’d buy more of the 1k uber gcs for 50% off
Somewhat relevant from a friend of mine, using WeChat, you request some type of code to get Uber ride at 35% discount on each ride. Not aware of the details but it’s required you know how to read/write in Chinese.

They had it twice that I’ve seen: about a year ago (I only bought the $250 for 170 at that point since I didnt really trust in getting it fulfilled), and 6 months ago (when it took 3 months for delivery)

I’ll tweet at you next time they have a huge uber deal. I’ve been contacting them every month to see if they were going to do 1000 for $500 uber and they said they do not believe so since it was so difficult for them to procure them the last time.

Yeah, a few of my friends couldn’t deal with the wait and cancelled. I’ve just had past experience with them so I went along with it

Probably a key DP to keep in mind with UBer GC is if you load it onto your account your AMEX Plat uber credits in the following month won’t work until you deplete your Uber GC based on the way uber does a first in first out methodology with giftcards.
No it doesn’t, it uses first to expire.
