I’ve found Doordash to be the worst company. Grubub/seamless/caviar routinely have codes for money off for existing users so I haven’t ordered on Doordash since August. Even with $15 off here I’d prob still spend more money using doordash than otherwise.
Grubhub is always more expensive than DD in my location by at least $3-6. And always delivered slower by 5-30 minutes. May be location dependent.
I always find Doordash for same restaurants to be cheaper than Uber Eats or Grubhub when ordering identical items also. I have DD Pass, Grubhub+ and Uber Eats pass courtesy of Chase and Amex. Also, Grubhub and Uber Eats show starting recommended tips higher than DD. It makes me feel like they maybe paying driver less so want to compensate by asking us to tips more…
