- BlockFi is offering a bonus of up to $250 when you deposit funds into a BlockFi Interest Account (BIA). Tiers are as follows:
- Deposit $500 – $999 and receive $25 bonus
- Deposit $1,000 – $4,999 and receive $50 bonus
- Deposit $5,000 – $9,999 and receive $100 bonus
- Deposit $100,000+ and receive $250 bonus
The Fine Print
- Valid until 9/25/20
- Offer valid to 23:59:59 UTC on September 25, 2020.
- To be eligible for the promotion, you must have a balance of $0 on September 15, 2020, this must be your first ever deposit in the BlockFi Interest Account, and you must maintain a $500+ balance through 23:59:59 UTC on December 14, 2020.

Our Verdict
It says you need a promo code, but it should auto populate when using the link. The funds will need to be in there until December 14, 2020 so keep that in mind. As this is crypto there is no FDIC or NCUA insurance so there is a risk there. BlockFi offered a $100 bonus for depositing $200 in the past. Personally if something seems to good to be true it usually is. This product claims an interest rate of 8.6% annually, there is no way that is sustainable unless there is also significant risk. Personally I don’t think this is worth signing up for or risking $10,000 on.
