Update 3: My cashback has gone from pending to denied. I’m currently in the process of filing a missing cashback claim. I think this is due to me making repeated one night stay reservations (even though when I made those bookings this wasn’t disallowed). My girlfriend (who didn’t make repeated one night stay reservations) has had some of her cash back move to the payable stage.
Update 2: Topcashback has now added some fine print which excludes you from earning cash back from multiple one night stays.
Update: Topcashback has tracked our bookings without issue and cashback is currently in the pending stage. We haven’t had any issues making multiple one night stay bookings and then getting them combined (although make sure you’re super polite at the reception desk and tip if possible).Â
Note: If you sign up to topcashback using our link and earn $10 in cash back, then we will also earn $10 as a referral bonus. You don’t have to use our link, but we appreciate you doing so.
The Offer

The Fine Print
- Using a coupon code/promotional code will void the cash back
- Sometimes shopping portals do not track correctly, make sure you read our tips on how to ensure they do.
Our Verdict
The fine print on this offer is pretty annoying in that it doesn’t give a lot of information. It’s possible to find rooms (mostly dormitory style) for less than $14, I’m fairly certain that Booking.com will not want to pay out on those types of bookings but it’s impossible to tell if they will or not.
For most people this won’t be that useful as if the room is over $100 then you’re really only getting a 14% discount. I usually find booking.com to be more expensive than it’s competitors by close to that amount anyway. I’m going to try booking a room for less than $14 to see what happens, but I’m not particularly hopeful.
This will likely be most useful for those going on budget trips where $14 makes up a large portion of the total bill. It might
