The Fine Print
- The British Airways Avios eStore Double Avios offer is valid for all members who make an Eligible purchase via British Airways Avios eStore between 00:01 Thursday 5 October 2017 and 23:59 Sunday 8 October 2017.
- Members will receive double the standard Avios collection rate with selected online retailers*, all In Store retailers are excluded.
- An Eligible purchase is where one Avios or more is collected through purchases made via the British Airways Avios eStore only.
- Purchases made directly in the Partners stores will not qualify for the double Avios award. Certain exclusions apply, see individual retail pages within the Avios eStore for details.
- All Avios will be added to your account within 35 (thirty-five) days. Avios will not be awarded on items that are returned or cancelled. W

Our Verdict
Rates actually seem to be quite good and actually doubled (e.g Walmart is offering 8x Avios and best cash rate is 7%, eBay is offering 2x etc etc). As always you should be comparing this to what else is available in terms of portal rates and also the historical highs, I like to use cashbackmonitor (although it’s not showing the doubled rates currently). United also have a shopping portal promotion currently running as well.
