Capital One has announced that cardholders will be able to access Plaza Premium lounges for cards with lounge access. The specifics are as follows:
- Venture X cardholders, enjoy unlimited complimentary access for you and two guests.
- Venture and Spark Miles, enjoy two complimentary visits per year to Plaza Premium Lounges or Capital One Lounges
Plaza Premium has 100+ lounges including select Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses.
Pretty nice deal earlier with Venture X. 1000 SUB, 200 Airbnb/HOA credit, $300 hotel credit(effective rate is more like 250 as the fees they add need to be accounted for but still good) That’s at least 1450 for the price of 395. Additional bonus include GE/Precheck reimbursement and unlimited lounge access to account holder and all AUs. That’s worth at least another $200.
The catch is that this card is not very easy to get if you own many accounts or have more than 3 new accounts in 1-2 years. Also the current sign up deals are not nearly as good as the original.
If I have a Venture Card, how do I get the 2 complimentary visits per year? Is it a pass or is it some sort of app?
You can access a pass and add it to your mobile wallet from the app. On the venture card click rewards miles > adventure awaits > lounges > view pass.

I somewhat frequent a handful of airports with good Plaza Premium lounges… was really going to be the main thing I missed after canceling the Amex Plat, but… not anymore! Great news.
Per the FAQ, for AUs, Venture X is unlimited, Venture/Spark does not have a separate pool.

I just noticed, Venture X’s **Priority Pass** access does not limit to 2 guests. (but it does for Plaza Premium)
Not able to go in YYZ today (6/14), agent tried on both machine and does not recognize the Venture X card.

The lounge that Priority Pass shut down at EWR is the same Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse operated by Plaza Premium. Enjoy clearing security in Terminal B for stale bread and celery sticks.
