Capital One Launches Business CreditWise – Free Business Credit Report

Capital One has launched Business CreditWise, this is a free tool that shows your business credit report similar to the personal tool they offer simply called CreditWise. The information provided by Capital One’s Business CreditWise is powered by LexisNexis Risk solutions. No business credit score is provided, although credit scores are not used as much in business lending as they are in consumer lending. The CreditWise dashboard looks as follows:

Accessing your business credit report does not affect your business credit. It’s nice to see Capital One continue to add benefits like this, although it isn’t necessary to be a Capital One cardholder to use and access Business CreditWise.

is there any reason to NOT freeze your LexisNexis report? do any banks require LexisNexis in addition to TU/EF/EX.
it seems like LexisNexis can only be used against you (similar to ARS & Sagestream)

Does this even exist anymore? Seems like Business CreditWise is dead now…

I just went looking for it as well, no luck. The original link brings up “This site can’t be reached”. A few minutes of googling reveals no articles or announcements of a shut down.

Interesting I checked out my various Businesses, while my business show up when I search for them – I have to unlink to search for my different business entities. Creditwise is only showing my Biz cards from BofA and Wells Fargo, but doesn’t show any of my Chase, Citi or Amex business CC accounts.

I wish that it showed Inq so we could see who is using Lexis Nexis vs just using your PG with you SSN and/or EIN.

It would be kinda of nice if it had the same type of interface like Nav does for Biz card recommendations. If I recall Nav is tied into your SSN and returns your EXP FICO as well as the D&B Pay index if you have enough accounts.

Anyone have the SPARK or other C1 Business card and is it showing on Creditwise IIRC C1 reports on Personal – but I’m might be mistaken.

Nice. I’m now glad I haven’t closed a couple of old business credit cards that I don’t use anymore. Similar to personal reports, old no annual fee cards help lower reported utilization and give the business credit age.

Meh. I dont have a business with Capital one but I don’t particular trust that their CreditWise has a good uptime.

It’s been several weeks now, and my persona CreditWise hasn’t been available. I have to go with Chase to check out my TransUnion credit score.

If you already have a CreditWise account, you use the same credentials and just check the business report option.

They’re unable to pull my business data even though Nav has been able to.

Sole prop not showing up for me either, but not as surprising for me with 4 months history for business credit cards.
