Capital One has been announced as the new issuer of the co-branded Williams-Sonoma credit card. This partnership also covers brands such as Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Teen, Pottery Barn Kids, West Elm and Mark & Graham. Previously these cards were issued and managed by Comenity.
The new Capital One cards will launch before the end of 2021. In addition Capital One has purchased the back book from Comenity, meaning existing cardholders will be transitioned onto the new Capital One cards. Details regarding that transition and the structure of the new cards is expected in the coming months. The new cards will run on the Visa payment network.
