Since removal of 10x hotels.com bonus, this card is useless. I always get waived AF, I also moved my cash to Amex for 25k MR since I did not get any bonus offer to deposit.
Hoping to get bonus next year For existing 360 customers.

When I called to downgrade to SavorOne last year, they waived the AF to keep me on Savor without my even asking. I’d put a reasonable amount of spending on it (I did use Seamless a lot before all this happened), but nothing eyepopping. I’d be surprised if they got tougher about it now.

It’s worth keeping if only because the Savor line is one of the few no-AF cards with no FTF either.

I got AF waived too. For restaurants, I have Discover for 5%, Altitude for 4.5% until end of the year which makes Savior useless I’ll probably downgrade to Savior One and that will be it.

did you wait after the AF posted to get it waived or prior? TIA

I got this for Entertainment spend and that has dropped sharply, so I called in for a retention offer and was surprised they refunded the annual fee for a year. Will be keeping the card and hopefully can spend more in that category next year, but if not I may cancel since CSR covers dining.

Not compelling. My outside dining and entertainment expenditures have plummeted since COVID. If you’re not on a grandfathered card, the Savor is absolutely not worth it, nor will it be for a few years. My AF kicks in September and I will calling for a waiver. Easy cancellation if they don’t oblige.

Unfortunately Capital One won’t refund the AF if you PC after the AF hits.

You can initiate the PC before the AF hits. I just PC my Venture to the non-AF version. The $95 AF will be posted in Aug.

How fitting that shortly after Barclays ditched cash rewards for their Uber card (and everybody summarily ditched the Uber card, too), Capital One comes in with 5x on Uber Eats.
